  • These people are all in bed together... the judge, the attorney, the people on the board of the hospice where Terri is being held captive.

    It is a twisted story...

I think Terri's parents should be able to have emergency custody od Terri while her husband is investigated.

WHile under the care of her parents-- they can run tests and get her therapy....

A bone scan to prove that she sustanined injuries while living with Michael would at least be helpful to keep Terri in their care-- but alas-- Judge is just not interested in the law.... as usual these days- he is interested in HIS AGENDA!

  • Remember this case from a while ago:

Father 'keeps brain-damaged baby alive to avoid murder charge'
    http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_568418.html

A man suspected of causing brain damage to his baby is keeping him alive on a life support machine in an apparent bid to avoid murder charges.

Moises Ibarra, 23, is in a Los Angeles jail accused of shaking seven-and-a-half month old Christopher and throwing him into his cot.

He has refused to allow his son to die for almost four months because he is hoping for a miracle.

Mother Tamara Sepulveda, who is also brain-damaged, told the Los Angeles Times she wanted to turn off the life support machine and let him die. She claimed that keeping him alive artificially was torture.

Doctors have said Christopher will never recover from his injuries.

If he dies, a charge against Ibarra would be upgraded from assault to murder, prosecutors said. He is also charged with child abuse.

A court must now decide the fate of Christopher. Orange County social workers have taken temporary custody of the baby, arguing that neither parent is fit to care for him.

Lawyer Harold LaFlamme, who has been appointed by a judge to represent Christopher's interests, said he planned to seek multiple medical opinions on the baby's condition.

"Am I doing him service by keeping him alive? I don't know," he told the LA Times. "If the medical community says this is cruel to keep him alive, then I might have to make some choices."

He said he did not know how long it would be before a decision was made. Ms Sepulveda, 23, told the paper she was sure her child deserved to be put out of his misery.
