I can't help but recall each time he suggests that you can't trust the internet- THIS STORY!

We must keep in mind that blogs are just like people. They are just like anything else in life. Some good; some bad. They are only a reflection of the person hitting the keys on the other end of our monitors.

Many claim that the internet is full of lies. It is also full of truth. The one thing about blogs is that anything a blogger puts out there is up for immediate scrutiny. No one can walk onto the CBS stage and say, "Excuse me Dan, that's not true."

If a blog puts out misinformation, they will surely flop; or at the very least only attract those that embrace that misinformation.

Does anyone remember the story of the kidnapped G. I. Joe Doll? If it were not for the internet (the blogs), exposing such a ridiculous faux pas, I bet they would have just reported it as a "false report."

I have found that information on the blogs is much easier to fact check- so I prefer the internet for information.

Right now, it is the bloggers that are chasing down the real facts, not the MSM. We are the ones fact checking. We are the ones researching. We are the ones that search for credible sources and ways to corroborate them. We supply links to our facts, so you can check them for yourself.

Right now, they may think they can get away with dismissing us as "internet lies." The internet gets a bad rap. Some of it deserved (porn, etc). But we are denied the applause of the great service we provide by the MAIN STREAM of society.

Just wait though...........

Soon, "internet lies" will no longer get you out of trouble.....
