DNC Chairman Plans To Exploit Terri Schiavo Murder For Political Gain
Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean has told a homosexual group in West Hollywood that the Democrats will make Terri Schiavo a campaign issue in the 2006 and 2008 election campaigns. Speaking at a breakfast meeting sponsored by Access Now for Gay and Lesbian Equality (ANGLE), Dean said while the need for "message discipline" was keeping Democrats focused on its opposition to the Bush administration's proposal to reform Social Security by allowing private investment accounts, "we're going to use Terri Schiavo later on."

Republican National Committee spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt responded to Dean's promise to politicize Terri Schiavo's tragic death: Dean's "outrageous remarks help underscore why Dean is the leader of the minority party. Terri Schiavo was never about partisan politicking, but instead about a woman's life." In 2003, Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean expressed his support for physician-assisted suicide and said Florida Republicans should be embarrassed for their passage of "Terri's Law."

Man, you guys live in an interesting world. It's okay to publish the cell phone number of a private citizen so that she can enjoy the privilege of paying for harassing phone calls from lunatics around the country. And it's just fine for high ranking conservatives to call for violence against judges. And slandering a man by accusing him of all sorts of vile things without a shred of evidence passes muster for you fine Christians. Not to mention encouraging each other to abuse a hotline meant for one purpose so that you can harass officials about an unrelated matter. And of course it's appropriate for the legislative branch to take time away from stupid things like the war and Social Security so that they may enact legislation designed to bully judges because it's aligned with something you want. And then you have the audacity to accuse the "other" side of playing politics because they take a public stand against the position you've taken.
In short, you have decided that you can lie, misrepresent facts, harass, slander, and incite violence against those who disagree with you, all because you're Christians and, therefore, whatever you do is right. Wow.

No one sincere about right to life encourages any type of violence against those that disagree with us.
As for the rest of your rant... (yawn) heard it all before. Obviously we are hitting a nerve. Our calls and such have ultimately helped (at least in a small way) to get Mae to a place where she can pursue HER right to life instead of being deemed death worthy and left dying in a Hospice.
Amazing how many people are upset by this...
Taking Terri's legacy as an inspiration to save lives, and using it for political power for political parties are two totally different things. And don't start spouting about Republicans using Terri as if we are okay with this...
BOTH parties have played politics with Terri's life, and those of us sincere about pro-life KNOW IT! AND WE DON'T LIKE EITHER PARTY DOING IT!
I realize it upsets you when we recognize evil and point it out.. which is good. Glad it upsets you. If we weren't so effective- you wouldn't waste your time and breath trying to berate us.
THANK YOU for confirming for us how necessary our fight is and how well we are doing!
You are such a treat!

At LifeNews.com Schindler Priest Bashes Howard Dean on Terri Schiavo Comments
"Morally speaking, she was murdered, and being with her at her bedside during her last hours, I saw the terror on her face and the agony of her death," Pavone explained.
"Pavone said Terri's death will definitely be a political issue in upcoming elections."
"But you and your fellow Democrats will be sorry that you made it one," he warned Dean.
