Another Loss.....

I am not going t be posting the next part of VICTIM OR VICTORY today. I will hopefully get back to it tomorrow.

A very dear friend of mine took his life yesterday, and I am taking a breather today. Forgive me, please. If you are a believer, please say a prayer for his family. Thank you for stopping in today.

Give everyone you love an extra hug today.

  • I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I also had a very good friend that took his life several years back. I know how you must feel. This kind of death is always very difficult to deal with. My prayers go out to you and your friend's family.

  • I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You have my prayers and hugs, his family, too. You all will be going through a lot shortly, including anger at him for doing this. Don't stress or feel guilty and realize that is a normal thing to be feeling.

    I lost one of cousins to suicide almost 15 years ago and I can easily recall the denial>sorrow>anger that I went through.

    Sorry about your loss. Hope to talk to you again soon. I have worked with two people now that lost their father that way and wonder what it means, since I know it is not chance. I have faced depression in my life and have had those thoughts as well and people just do not understand the depths that depression can take you to. Maybe that is why I am where I am and work with those that will always wonder why their loved ones did this type thing. One I work with abandoned the faith after his father took his life, just one day before his first child was born. I hope I can be salt and light to him.
