12:50 pm EST, just 10 minutes before the removal of the feeding tube from Terri Schiavo, Pinellas Circuit Court Chief Judge David Demers issued an injunction prohibiting it’s removal based on a “technicality”.
Judge George Greer was nowhere to be found.
Following this judicial announcement, NewsMax.com reports:
Howard Simon, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Florida office, said his group's attorneys were working with Michael Schiavo's attorneys to determine if the subpoenas would block the scheduled removal of the tube.
