Remember............

Please take time today as you grill out your burgers and dogs to remember what this day is truly about. This is a day to reflect on those that risked their dreams for a cause much greater than themselves. Many gave all their tomorrows for our today. We enjoy a life the world envies. We take for granted our freedoms.

The mere right for us to speak freely, to dissent, to blog.... many died for, many were mamed for. Men never saw their children. Children never knew their fathers. Mothers' arms ached, still ache.

As a special treat, Glenn Beck has posted this essay for FREE this weekend. Please take a few moments to listen. Send the link to family and friends. Clear your heart for just a few moments this weekend, and remember.

I would like to request prayer for my uncle Larry, who is currently serving overseas. He leaves behind a wife,14, and 10 year old son, plus a 4 year old daughter. He signed up for the reserves years ago, and is now fulfilling his duty to our country. Please keep him in your prayers.

I have an Uncle Larry also! It will be so very easy for me to remember his name and I will certainly hold him in my prayers! AND YOU AND HIS FAMILY TOO!

Please thank him for his service- his sacrafice- and his courage for us the next time you talk with him. And EVERY time you talk to him- Please!

Happy Memorial Day. I have a brother and brother-in-law serving right now in the armed forces. We tend to forget what Memorial Day really is all about. I want to send a personal thank you to al our troops who make it possible for us to live in America a free nation. I want to say thank you also to all that have passed on but have also given their own lives to protect ours. Thank you for allowing us to continue to keep our nation free and protecting us from harm. God Bless you and Keep you safe.
