1,300 FAKE BADGES!

Feds seize fake badges
1,300 counterfeit emblems found representing 35 different agencies

Federal officials arrested a New York man yesterday and charged him with possessing and selling more than 1,300 counterfeit badges representing 35 law enforcement agencies.

The counterfeits are "very, very good," Special Agent in Charge Martin Ficke of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency told CNN, adding that nine out of 10 of the badges would "pass scrutiny."

The fake badges looked like the real thing from agencies such as the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Customs, Drug Enforcement Agency, Treasury and the New York Police Department.

"For someone to have that in their possession and utilize it to identify themselves as law enforcement could be devastating to security, particularly homeland security," Ficke is quoted as saying.

This article should be posted on the first page of every American newspaper . . .but it isn't.

Why isn't the msm blaring reports about the Government Alerts regarding various Hospitals disclosure of possible "Security Breach" by individuals of middle eastern ethnicity as well?!. . . The American Hospital Association issued the following bulletin from the Dept. of Homeland Security
    see link:

3/27/05 NJ hospital reports 4 separate instances within 6 week period.

From 2/26-3/10/2005 three additional hospitals (LA, Detroit, Boston) reported suspicious activity.

10/24/2004, two hospitals in Phoenix, AZ (as well as hospitals in Texas and Indiana)(these hospitals happen to be distribution points for antedotes to biological attacks).

2/7/05 Middletown Regional Hospital in NY also reports suspicious surveillance by two individuals (SUBJECTS) using identification badges representing themselves from Department of Defence and CIA.

Read it all . Then ask, why aren't any surveillance photos posted so that the average citizen can help identify the culprits threatening our security?

this is yet another reason I say we should post tens of thousands of National Guardsmen and women and Reserves on our borders (Mexico,Canada). The very danger of being pulled over by a "fake" cop could be devastating if you are a normal citizen, politician, or member of our government agencies. This is unacceptable and should be, as previously mentioned, posted on the front page of every major and minor newspaper in America.
