Sometimes it is Just SOOOO HARD TO BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN!

REPORTER VOWS TO 'KILL SELF' IF CHENEY RUNS FOR PRESIDENT

Veteran wire reporter Helen Thomas is vowing to 'kill herself' if Dick Cheney announces he is running for president.

The newspaper HILL first reported the startling claim on Thursday.

"The day Dick Cheney is going to run for president, I'll kill myself," she told the HILL. "All we need is one more liar."

Thomas added, "I think he'd like to run, but it would be a sad day for the country if he does."


I can just imagine the fun in the White House with this one today! I wonder if VP Cheney has had even ONE conversation today that didn't start with, "So Dick, when are you going to announce you're running?" I must stop here. She just made it toooooo easy to be tooooo ugly.

  • Sherri's true colors (and degree of education for that matter) shine through everytime she posts more than just a story quote + a tag line or two. She may cite Christian morals but when she does manage to get an original thought out, it often reveals her outright bitchiness and mean-spirited core. It's not hard to see at all, and those who defend her do so not so much to protect her, but to protect the values she advertises.

    JWL is an amusing creature, bringing abortion into almost every topic. He/she must be an absolute gem at any social function.

    Anyway, the only person who showed more hatred towards society on this blog than Sherri was jlfintx. Both of them will end up paying for it in the end.

  • LOL no, a doctorate she does not have. But a doctor she does need.

    I absolutely agree that Sherri has the courage of her convictions -- hands down. And she puts her money where her mouth is (e.g. the road trip to FL). On the otherhand, whether you admit it or not, she's quite the simpleton, so her convictions aren't at all subtle. She lives in a world where everything is black and white because she isn't capable of making a finer distinction.

    Nah, I just like to point out unbelievably extremely hypocrisy. The idea that leftists who support killing fetuses and stealing people's money would say that Sherri is not a good Christian because she uses tough rhetoric which makes you feel bad is just too funny.

    If your head weren't so buried in the sand, you'd realize that those who purport to be Christians but spew vile and thinly masked hatred do not help the Christian cause. That behavior turns away everyone but those already firmly in the Christian camp.

    Sherri is on her way to becoming another jlfintx. And if you believe his posts on this blog (NOT necessarily his posts on LGF or DL) helped the Christian cause -- well, then, more power to you I guess. We'll just go on laughing at each other.

  • Sorry, it is not that serious. If you will allow someones actions to make you end your own life, you have real issues. Especially since the man is just running. I would understand more if he got elected, but suicide for him even running. Theres really nothing else to say but keep current on your news. :)

  • Granted Dick Cheney is not the most gifted or politically inspired vice president of our nations history but there is no need to go shopping for pine boxes just yet. He remains in the shadow of the President and has yet to make a real difference with his position.
