A Boxer’s Dozen: More Batty Than a Kentucky Cave!

I searched for articles this morning on the confirmation of Dr. Condoleeza Rice as our new Secretary of State. I had planned on doing a written response to the Boxer’s Dozen and their prostitution of our political process with their pompous grandstanding. I am disgusted and ashamed of the misconduct of our US Senators. They would have most of us believe that this was about serious issues and questions that the “American People” deserve to have addressed. They play a different tune to the fringe base that these particular nay-sayers are trying to appeal to. This fringe is fed the story that they are “fighting” the eeevil Republicans and their Imperialist agenda. After what seemed like endless reading and a lot of key pounding to make each point, I finally just stopped. This was ridiculous.

I could take apart each of these Senators words and make point after point after point. None of this would ever register to them. Truth is not on their radar right now. Truth is not the point. The problem is that they are losing their grip on their control of our government. This is paramount in their universe. Only power motivates them. They are creating every opportunity possible to convince America that there is no War on Terror. They want you to believe that this War on Terror is nothing more than an eeevil plot by the Bush administration (Karl Rove) to scare the American people into keeping them in office so they can make Cheney’s buddies rich.

The danger of this is beyond grossly underestimated. All the twisted phrases and bullet points will never get the fringe Liberals to stop their pandemonium. It is not the War on Terror that will bring this country down. It is the ability of the enemy to work together. Iran and Iraq were dedicated enemies, but right now, Iran is doing all they can (under the radar) to help defeat the Coalition in Iraq. They get it. They realize that the real threat to their existence is not Iraq; it is Democracy. When will the left start to get it? When will they realize that it is not the Republicans that are the real enemies? While they are teaching their children that the eeevil in this world is their own country, Capitalism, and the Christian right wing (yeah….they are the REAL oppressors-{eye roll}); the enemy is teaching their children the exact same thing.

The truth is harsh at times. What are we teaching our children? What we need is TRUTH IN NEWS! I could list example after example of how the enemy is united with anyone who will oppose us, and how the Hard Left Liberals are joining the parade, but I think a picture is worth a thousand words. This is why we are rejoicing over the elections in Iraq. This is what the enemy is teaching their kids:



So, while Boxer and her gang of liars, traitors, boozers, and KKK buddies want to grandstand, fill our TV screens with outlandish childish behavior, alienate most of the African American Community, and act as batty as a Kentucky cave; I will leave you with the image above and my favorite quote.
