HERE’S HOW!


Okay folks- the plan is clear, easy, and concise-THIS IS THE PLAN:

Richard at blogsforterri is in contact with the people closest to Terri’s family. ALL the blogs fighting for Terri have been given their marching orders on how to SAVE TERRI. It is a simple plan that we can ALL do. There is also some GREAT information that has surfaced to help us in this fight. STAY WITH ME HERE! STAY STRONG AND VIGILANT to SAVE TERRI!

First- You need to be armed with the FACTS!


Second- Email Jeb Bush. Copy and paste info you get from above onto a word doc and save it. This way you can easily copy and paste this info into any and ALL emails—you will be more effective by arming yourself with facts, and also utilizing your time wisely. jeb@jeb.org

Third- Email EVERY SINGLE MEDIA SOURCE YOU CAN WITH THIS INFO—ESPECIALLY INFO ABOUT JUDGE GREER ILLEGALLY SITTING IN HIS POSITION! This kind of info is just a great bit of meat for the media vultures—they love scandal—they see this fight for Terri as a bunch of emotional fanatics. A judge sitting in his perch illegally is something more worth covering. DO not limit your emails to JUST this piece of info—but START with it…

Fourth- Email, and call EVERYONE you know--- EVERYONE! GET THEM TO ALSO JOIN THE EMAIL CAMPAIGN! If you live locally in Florida- make calls too! Flood them. Flood them! Flood them! Let them know the POWER of the PEOPLE they CLAIM to SERVE!

FIFTH- PRAY! I have a dear friend who even searched for verses he felt best fit this situation and shared them with me. NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF PRAYER! Start a prayer chain, remember what prayer accomplished for us in Florida suring the 2000 elections?

  • I personally wouldn't want to live the hellish existence Terry has suffered for the last 15 years, therapy or no. I've told my husband should I end up like this PLEASE, PLEASE do whatever you can to put me out of my misery. Lying in bed hour after hour, day after day, year after year unable to move or feed myself, with nothing to occupy my mind would be hell on earth. I don't think somebody taking me to therapy to learn a new word or two a week would be sufficient. AND I would hope my family would just let me go, not cling to me because they can't bare me being gone. I might smile at my Mama and like having my cheek stroked but that doesn't mean I'm enjoying being alive. Good God, the suffering of that woman. Awful.

    But TERRI has the RIGHT TO LIVE IF SHE WANTS TO!

    Did you know that the last time they pulled her feeding tube that when they came and TOLD her they were going to pull her feeding tube and STARVE HER TO DEATH- that SHE- YES TERRI- MOANEd like an animal and struggled to GET OUT OF HER WHEELCHAIR ANS ESCAPE!!!!

    TERRI DOESN'T WANT TO DIE AND NO COURT NO HUSBAND NO JUDGE HAS THE RIGHT TO KILL A WOMAN THAT IS HANDICAPPED AND WANTS TO LIVE!

    YOU ARE NOT TERRI- AND YOU OR NO ONE ELSE HAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE THAT DECISION FOR HER! TALK ABOUT A WOMAN HAVING THE RIGHT OVER HER OWN BODY--- AMAZING HOW THE "PRO-CHOICE, IT'S MY BODY CROWD SEEMS TO THINK TERRI IS EXEMPT FROM HER RIGHT TO LIVE!

    I would not normally be for deleting posts, but people like Clair have nothing to contribute. I would bet my life that she did not read the facts you have put together and has very little to show in maturity or responsibility. She doubtless has no children-if she does and they are injured, I guess she will ask the state to kill them. Maybe she even lives in the Netherlands?

    Your point is made, but I find it important to let Claire's voice be heard. It is a PRIME example of how people who CLAIM to be about mercy have not even had the mercy to in their hearts to DO THE HOMEWORK and KNOW THE FACTS!

    ANYONE WITH TRUE MERCY WOULD AT LEAST DO THAT MUCH BEFORE SUPPORTING THE STATE IN TORTURING AND STARVING A WOMAN TO DeATH....

    So I think it actually serves my purpose to leave it-- AND it absolutely proves my point that EVERY VOICE SHOULD BE HEARD-

    INCLUDING TERRI'S!

  • You know what is even more horrifying?

    In 1918, California started a eugenics program, and killed about 20,000 mentally disabled people.

    Hitler was inspired by this, and mentioned it in Mein Kampf.

    All attempts by the state to end the life of innocents, first begin with the disabled, for the reason of fuzzy property rights: they are not viewed as owning themselves. This mistake invites all the evils of state-controlled healthcare, eugenics, and socialism. Until a strong stand is made for self-ownership, people like Terri will continue to be victimized.

  • You all read an awful lot into my post- I was not in any way "Trying to make that decision for her." To repeat myself, if I was in Terry's position, I would not want to go on that way indefinitely, as I have made sure to make clear to my family ahead of time. Do you all think that is wrong? I have a hard time understanding that she would want that either, I guess, especially after suffering for so, so long. I would go for quality over quantity any day. But if she does, then she should be allowed to go on. Clearly.

    (And from this, I have nothing to contribute because I have a different viewpoint????? Somehow I'm a childless monster pro-life activist weirdo from the Netherlands who lies awake at night wishing death on the disabled.??? Offergodsakes. I'm sorry I posted. Believe me, it won't happen again. Good luck with your campaign.

    You are right and I should have allowed you to express your opinion without giving you the business, however, you must understand that much time, sweat and tears are going into trying to save a woman that we firmly believe wants to live. Therefore, we are very sensitive to someone trying to say how terrible it is for her, that is just not relevant if you do not know the truth.

  • Terri isn't living now..she doesn't even know she's in existence. That's the problem now with us as humans..instead of letting the powers that be do what is only detined, we interfere and do what we think is right...and who are WE? Terri can't even eat on her own..but she can smile??? F.Y.I. Those are muscles and nerves that might be allowing her to smile..something she might not even have control over...If it were destined for her to live...she wouldn't depend on man or technology to survive. Only if her parents believe there is a heaven and hell..they should be at peace with life after death..this is only a temporary stay for all of us. N Mercer

    What did you do, just hear something on the MSM, brush through without ucing the links provided for you and rush to judgment?

    How much easier can it be for you? You don't even have to do the homework? So, I will begine with this-- YOU ARE WRONG! YOU DON'T KNOW THE FACTS!

    Second. Since when do we decide that it is okay kill people. Terri is no more dying than you or I. We are not taking life support from a critically ill person in order to save them from suffering..

    This case is advocating the torture of an innocent, ALIVE, and ALERT woman.

    You read Mein Kampf lately?????

    Hitler's T-4 program only killed about 80,000 people BEFORE he ever started his eeevil deeds at Auschwitz.....

    She is not on what is commonly considered "life support" like a ventilator. She has a feeding tube. Steven Hawking has a feeding tube. Should he have been forced to die? Think of the loss to science.

    Further, had she been given the therapy for which the jury awarded her damages--it is probable that she would be able to swallow and would have no need for the tube. A lot of people have strokes and temporarily lose the ability to swallow--but regain it with time and therapy. Should we just let them die in the interim?

    Also, by your logic--anyone who has to take life-saving medications or have life-saving surgery--"isn't meant to live."

  • About 90% of her upper cerberal cortex is just fluid now. That's where we derive our capacity for higher-order learning, planning, etc. Her more primitive systems deep in the brain are still functional though.


    If it's any consolation, there will be "nothing" there to make sense of all the physiological processes that will be firing off as her system shuts down from dehydration.
