Sherri is in Florida

Update for Groupies, Minions, and Trolls

Last night, in a 7 hour display of endurance, Sherri piloted her Kia down the highway into the State of Florida. Arriving at 5:00 in the morning, she checked in to her room for a few hours of needed sleep. Today, the vigil begins.

Schedule for Vigil and Rally
-- Saturday, March 12, 2005

  • 11:00 am: Gathering/Prayer/Rosary
  • 11:45 am: Announcements
  • 12:00 pm: Local Speakers Address Rally Participants
  • 2:00 pm: Press Conference
  • 3:00 pm: Prayer/Chaplet
  • 4:00 pm: Q&A: End of Life Issues - Terri's Case
  • 5:00 pm: Prayer Vigil
Please check out the above link for more information. Sherri is very excited to meet some of the others in attendence. These include Patricia Anderson (past attorney for the Schindler family), Dr. Jay Carpenter (one of three physicians who filed affidavits asserting that Terri can swallow), and the parents, brother and sister of Terri Schiavo.

Furthermore, Sherri will be joining other bloggers who have been supporting this cause. And then there are her sources, some secret, others public, that have made so much of her quest possible.

And speaking of making the quest possible, how about those contributions? We did have a good initial surge, but the counter is stuck. And it's not my programming skill that are to blame! Sherri is frugal, but Florida is expensive!

Once she completes her work in Clearwater, her hope is to make it to Tallahassee next week. She needs our help.

I know that Blogger (this site host) has been really freaky lately. The Comments area would not permit access. I am hoping that this is the only reason for the drop-off. Small amounts are very meaningful. Sherri may be too proud to plead (beg) for money, but I'm not.
We are using her Tip Jar PayPal account. It will accept bank transfers as well as credit card transfers. If you need help, email me. I may not be very good at this, but I have been given an extra dose of enthusiasm by Sherri.

  • Keep us updated Mr. Nut Job. Sorry, I had to "borrow" that from Levi. I am on the edge of my seat to hear about her time. Please ask her to pick up a journal, er, maybe not, let's not make her work 24/7. Tell her we insist that she have some fun since she needs some rest.

Keep up the good work and good luck. I just dropped $50 in the tip jar.
