URGENT!!! YOU CAN ACT TODAY and SAVE MANY LIVES!

World Magazine did story on how Ultrasounds given in Crisis Pregnancy Centers have helped mothers to choose LIFE! Supplying these Ultrasound machines has been a project of Focus on the Family. Illinois is attempting to STOP this life saving practice! (SHOCKER!)

I have talked with the office of
Representative Ron Stephens (you can email him to thank him for his help Here: info@ronstephens.com). They have been INCREDIBLE! They gave me ALL the information necessary to help STOP this push of the this legislation by Planned Parenthood (an organization not the LEAST bit interested in truly aiding in PLANNING for ACTUAL PARENTHOOD; only the PLANNING of NO PARENTHOOD!).

PLEASE ACT NOW!

House Bill 2492 is headed to the Illinois State Senate Health and Human Services Committee!(the bill number remains the same as in the house). If we can get them to vote NO on this bill, it will DIE! BUT WE MUST HURRY AND ACT NOW! It is scheduled for a hearing on WEDNESDAY at 9:00 AM! Let's get moving before this hits the Senate floor and there is 10 times MORE work to do! Make sure they GET THE MESSAGE; tell them to vote NO on HB 2492.

Health and Human Services Committee

ALSO, Ron Stephenson needs our help on an EXECUTIVE ORDER by Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Stay tuned for Information for Action tips on how to help Ron STOP THIS!

UPDATE:

I can't make it any easier than this. Copy and paste the following into your "TO:" box in order to email those Senators serving on the Health and Human Services Committee.

  • Ok, here is the email I am sending out to everyone:

I am writing most respectfully, to ask you to please vote "no" on the House Bill #2492 that is coming to the Senate Health and Human Services Committee for review.

This bill would make it a Class A misdemeanor for an ultrasound to be performed without a doctor's orders, but it would *detrimentally* effect crisis pregnancy centers which have recently begun doing ultrasounds on women considering abortion.

Many young mothers have recently described how the new ultrasound technology at a crisis pregnancy center persuaded them to choose life for their children!

This is from an article in World Magazine, by Lynn Vincent :

"It's no wonder private and nonprofit funding programs such as Focus on the Family's "Option Ultrasound" push to equip crisis pregnancy centers with sonogram technology: Eight in 10 centers report that "abortion-minded" women decide to keep their babies after seeing ultrasound images. WORLD interviewed three ultrasound converts to learn what they had in common, how they were different from each other—and why moving pictures changed their minds."

Please consider that Rep. Rosemary Mulligan may have a secondary agenda of making these ultrasounds at Crisis Pregnancy impossible with this bill, which she is sponsoring!

  • I emailed all, but Sieben's email address(Tsieben@geneseo.net) was 'undeliverable'. It said 'user unknown'. The other emails all went through.

  • Thanks very much for the email addresses. Mail has been sent and I, too, had the Tsieben mail bounce, but all others went through.

  • Liked yours a lot too, Levi. Thanks for sending it to them.

  • It is a no brainer to vote against H.B. 2492 in committee. Which living human would conceive such a bill, that would prevent crisis pregnancy centers from allowing pregnant women to see their babies.

Irrespective of which way a pregnant woman decides, seeing her baby is her rights and no one elses.

P.S. Have anyone ever heard of a few minutes of ultrasound harm any babies?
