McCain Has LOST HIS MIND!

I was visiting NewsMax and saw this Headline:

McCain Touts Jeb for 2008

The first name that popped out of U.S. Sen. John McCain's mouth Sunday as the Republican choice for president in 2008 was Jeb Bush, but the governor's spokesman repeated his position that he has no plans to run.

"If you're looking at dynasties, and by the way I'm a great admirer of Governor Bush, he's done a great job in Florida," the Arizona senator said on "Fox News Sunday." But he added, "This might be a wide-open situation."

Where's my duct tape? THANK GOD McCain and Jeb Bush are not elected officials in MY state! McCain says "great job?" What GREAT JOB? Please do tell. I love his brother, but Jeb Bush is no George W Bush! That's for sure!

It is no surprise McCain would admire Jeb Bush. As far as I can see, neither one of them has a SPINE!

I nominate Condoleeza Rice. HANDS DOWN! Condi has it ALL! She has the brains, the drive, the courage, and the moral conviction it takes to be President of this country. The rest of them are pure politicians.

Time is running out for Terri Schindler-Schiavo as Judge Greer has set a deadline of March 18 to commence starving and dehydrating Terri by the request of her self-serving estranged husband.

Should Terri be tortured to death per the actions of Pinellas County Florida circuit court, this could set a precedence for euthanizing disabled American men, women and children....especially babies who are born with disabilities. As any human being has the will to live, no Earthly court has the right to decide an innocent persons quality of life, whatever the circumstances.

TICKED!!!!!!!!!!

I am flat out TICKED! The amount of lazy, self-centered people in this country just infuriates me. Each time I talk to people about the Terri case, I get these assorted statements.

"Well, all I know is what I heard on the TV."
"Well, I think this is the family's fight."
"I am sure they have their own attorneys."
"I hate it for the family, but they really need to let her go."
"There is nothing there, she is a shell."

It gets worse at times. Let's get something STRAIGHT! This case is not about a woman in a coma. It is not about "right to die." The family does not have the vast resources of the euthanasia "death society" groups that are propping up this case to use as a precedent for their own agendas. Terri is not PVS. Terri is aware of her surroundings. People have lied on the stand, including Michael Schiavo. The judge is beyond bias. Terri has been denied legal representation. Judge Greer dismissed Terri"s Ad Litem when he didn't like the Ad Litem's findings back in 2002, and then proceeded to appoint HIMSELF as her guardian. This is beyond disgusting- the Judge has yet to EVER VISIT TERRI! (not to mention that this is against FL Statute 744.309(b) and FL Canon 5(E) 1 and 2.) As for what people see on TV? I am dumbfounded! Absolutely DUMBFOUNDED! It's as if no one has ever heard about forged documents and Eason Jordan.

It becomes clearer each day that the MSM cannot be trusted to be honest, let alone do their homework, or hunt down stories in the pursuit of TRUTH. When America continues to firmly plant their heads in the sand, I find myself thinking, "Is this how people felt in Germany before and during Hitler's climb to power?" I am standing on the rooftops screaming at the top of my lungs-

"WAKE UP!"

Say Goodbye To Hollywood!

That just about does it for me with Hollywood. I am not upset with the fact that they have no clue. I am not done with them because I don't like their movies (although it gets harder and harder to find a movie I just might be interested in going to see). I'm not even fed up with them over their hypocrisy.

What has done it for me is the way they treat me. After last night, I just can't see what on earth I liked about them to begin with. A light bulb went off for me this morning. It was like being a kid and loving New Kids on the Block, and then once you get out on your own and reality of life sets in, you think "Oh, my gosh, how embarrassing. I use to like them!"

Rock quickly filled the political vacuum left when Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" and Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" were shut out of major award nominations. Rock ignored Hollywood's careful dance toward the political center by blasting President Bush on his job performance with an unexpected vehemence. Though Rock said it all with a smile, the sting of the jokes had even the most liberal faces in the crowd looking around for approval to clap.

Rock made a minor attempt at balancing his own jabs with a mention of Gibson's "Passion," noting how it "wasn't that funny."

These people live in a world that I just can't understand. These people don't understand me either. Hollywood is filled with ego maniacs of astronomical proportions. The worst part is that they are able to live this way because ME! My hard earned dollar is dumped into their pocket, and what do they do with it? They insult me. They use every opportunity possible to undermine everything I hold dear. They trash marriage with their constant bed-hopping. They bombard society with movies, music, and messages that defy every effort I make to instill morality into the lives of my children. Their constant attacks on our President is just ridiculous and shameful.

Hollywood can have their stupid award shows, they just won't find this house caring who they decide to hug and fawn on for their corruption of American society. It is laughable. I would rather watch the Math Awards at my local high school.

So, I am done. I have a rather nice collection of movies in my home that I very much enjoy. I have Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Signs, Finding Nemo, Young Guns, A Knight's Tale, etc.... There is no reason to spend my money on the filth. Now, I may find myself venturing to the theaters for the planned release of The Passion's non rated R version, but it will be a rare occasion to find me giving a dime to Hollywood.

Florida Supreme Court splits 4-3 on surprise last-minute filing in Terri Schiavo Case

While many parties have become involved in the Terri Schiavo case, there has been much activity under the radar, not reported by the mainstream press.

LAKELAND, FL (PRWEB) Friday, 25 February 2005 - Terri Schiavo supporters have been bolstered by a surprise, last-minute filing from an unexpected source. Lakeland, Florida resident, Gordon Watts, who filed a petition for writ of Habeas Corpus with Florida’s high court on behalf of Schiavo in late November of 2003, shortly after Schiavo’s feeding tube was removed and re-inserted, has struggled against powerful interests who have attempted to discredit and dismiss his involvement in this high-profile case. Watts also has experience in the U.S. Supreme Court, which is expected to hear his racial profiling case today, and can be found at the court’s official website: http://www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/04-8132.htm regarding a situation in which he was asked to leave an establishment based allegedly on his minority ethnic background.In spite of much opposition and ridicule from mainstream media and other parties, however, Watts’ case has remained alive in Florida’s Supreme Court for over a year until this past Wednesday.

Watts, who learned of the Schiavo case in 2003 from news reports, immediately moved to file as “next friend” to challenge Schiavo’s alleged illegal detention in hospices, which, according to State Law, are only allowed to admit terminal patients, which are expected to die within six or fewer months. Watts’ filings bear many similarities to filings made by the immediate family, but have additional elements, such as the direct challenge to the placement of Schiavo in a hospice facility and the use of the writ of habeas corpus. Watts has said that the immediate family would be more appropriate to file, but seeing no one else make these legal arguments, petitioned the court, noting that he need not be “closest friend” to satisfy legal Due Process requirements for the handicapped woman, who has been denied legal representation for much of her ordeal.

Mr. Watts also took issue with the fact that court orders only spoke to the feeding tube, but that parties removed both the feeding tube and also denied natural food, the latter a felony under chapter 825 state laws......

MENTAL MIDGETS

I admit it, I have avoided writing much about Ward Churchill. I wrote on him once, got it out of my system and moved on. I realize that that academia has become a bastion of nitwits with more time to think up moronic propaganda than most Americans. I am not going to knock ALL professors, I happen to have a very good friend whom is a professor. I will take a swipe at the ones that are more interested in brainwashing than actually teaching students to be critical thinkers. I just chalk up ol’ Ward to be just like most “elitist” prof’s- a MENTAL MIDGET!

Let’s think about this for a moment. It is the left that accuses the right of being bigots. Hmmmmmm and what was their brilliant poster boy caught saying last week? It is the left that accuses the red staters (in fly over country) of being stupid. Who is whining about how difficult it is for people to correctly register, vote in their proper district, and actually vote properly? It is the left that says the right sees things in too black and white. Who is it that claims America is the "world's biggest terror state" and the poor terrorists are “freedom fighters?” I just can’t handle the battle of wits with people so unarmed. I like to write about things a little more challenging to the brain cells.

These type professors are lacking the exercise of their brain cells by shutting down open discussion. This is why they must resort to screaming “racist” and “Halliburton” every time they enter a debate with the big boys.

So I am not going to spend my time bringing up Ward in order to discuss his ridiculous ramblings. I will, however take a moment to laugh at his inability to create anything on his own. He must manufacture things in order to get anyone to pay attention to him. Why does claiming to be a Native American (I happen to consider myself a Native American- I was born here in America- at least that is what my birth certificate claims)? Because without this claim, nobody gives a hoot what he says. If the identity or race of one’s parents is what gives you credibility in order that people will bother to listen to you, I’d say you really must be a MENTAL MIDGET!

The fact that there is no medical record of bulima is why there's so much money up for grabs. The original malpractice suit, which succeeded, claimed that her doctor should have realized there was an eating disorder given all of the indications he had.

Here are the facts:

I get my information from those that are DIRECTLY in contact with Terri's family. I trust this source. If you don't, FINE- but when you want to challenge the facts I give- then I suggest you expose YOUR source. (like leave a link to where you are reading or getting your info- see below you will see a link to MY SOURCE! If you are ninny enough to believe what you read in the MSM, do so at your own peril.)
I get my information from people who are embedded in this case and have been for YEARS.
I get my information from credible sources that have INSIDE information. They are the people that have been fighting this atrocity and have taken meticulous notes on their experience of encountering the cover-up and corruption techniques for YEARS!
I get me information from READING the actual court transcripts.
I get my information from sources that are IN THE BUSINESS of knowing the laws and the correct steps to be taken in order to address these violations with the appropriate people.
I get my information from sources that need to be protected.

I will, THIS week, be providing information that my sources have gained by filing Freedom of Information acts and much much more. The information is out there. The media is either ignoring it- or just doesn't understand all the issues because they have not invested the time and efforts into gathering all the information. I honestly believe that SOME of the media sources just are not aware of the web of lies. When you look at ONE piece of information it looks minor; noteworthy, but minor. When you put all the pieces together and look at the BIG picture, you can finally see what is going on here. If the media does not KNOW or realize the scope of the cover-up and corruption they will NOT invest the time and efforts needed to find all the info, and then expose it.

Media repeats misrepresentations in Terri Schiavo case.

On February 24, 2005, Associated Press released a report penned by Vickie Chachere which cited an eating disorder as the cause of Terri Schiavo’s mysterious collapse and ensuing brain injury on February 25, 1990.

Contrary to the account of writer Chachere, there was never a determination by any court nor the Florida Department of Health that Terri Schiavo ever suffered from any eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia or compulsive behavior that would lead to a heart failure at the age of 26.

Indeed, Florida ’s Department of Health had completely and absolutely cleared Terri’s general practitioner of any negligence or wrong-doing in her case. This was after the physician had been accused by Terri’s husband of ignoring evidence of an eating disorder.

Additionally, at the time of her mysterious medical episode, Terri Schiavo stood 5’3” and weighed somewhere between 115 and 118 pounds – a slim, but normal stature and weight.

Associated Press writer, Vickie Chachere cites not ONE medical document that would affirm her careless contention that Terri Schiavo was an irresponsible dieter or a compulsive victim of an eating disorder. The Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation asks Ms. Chachere to readily produce the facts upon which she penned such assertions.

According to several sources there seems to be a concerted effort to squelch any attempts by local and other citizens to file complaints and call for investigations into the case of Terri Schiavo. These sources are able to cite specific Florida Statutes that have been broken and have compiled many files documenting their allegations. Those departments and offices named in the allegations include the State Attorney’s Office, Department of Children and Families (DCF), and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

According to a well-informed source, there are many instances of corruption and cover-up taking place on different levels in the case surrounding Terri Schiavo. One very explosive charge is that the State Attorney’s Office had at one point given a directive to the local police department to not take any complaints or do any investigations about Terri Schiavo, Michael Schiavo, George Felos, Debra Bushnell, Judge Greer, or Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Inc.

Florida State Attorney Pinellas and Pasco Counties, Bernie McCabe was contacted yesterday afternoon in order to give his office an opportunity to respond to these allegations. McCabe initially responded to the allegations calling them “internet lies.” Once he was informed that the information was not simply read on the Internet but was received per an actual conversation with the source, he denied the allegations again quoting, “That did not happen. No such directive was given.”

Commentary:

PERSONAL note on the above story.

I am about to reveal an incident that occurred yesterday. I have no evidence or proof that this incident is in ANY way related to the above story, but in the interest of using public knowledge and notification as my best defense, I am disclosing the details of this incident here and now, publicly.

Approximately two hours after my conversation with Bernie McCabe, I received a phone call from a man that was intended to intimidate me by subtle, yet obvious means. A veiled threat was made to the well-being of not only myself, but also my children. I am in possession of voluminous documentation that could be very damaging to many people involved with the Terri Schiavo case.

I did not record the phone call I received, so I am giving my BEST recollection of the conversation. It is clear that the caller intended to intimidate me and issue a veiled threat.

I answered the phone with “Hello.”

He said “Is Sherri Reese there?”

Automatically I thought it was a sales call. I said “This is she.”

His voice changed, it went up in octave and now sounded eerily friendly. “So what part of Mississippi are you from?”

I said, “Who is this?”

He replied, “I think I know you from Mississippi.”

“Then what is your name?”

“Don’t you have a son named Kevin? He’s what? Fifteen, going to be 16 soon?”

“Yes.” He then proceeded to give the names and ages of my two young daughters. Now my voice got strong and stern. “WHO are you and WHAT do you want?”

“Like I said Sherri, I think I know you. I remember reading about you somewhere Sherri and I thought, ‘Hmmm, Sherri Reese…I think I know her.”

“Then what is your name?”

“Lawrence.”

“I don’t think you know me Lawrence.”

“Sherri, I am very good at remembering things, in fact I remember reading that you said what a BLESSING your son was. He is a BLESSING, you know. It’s good you know what a BLESSING he is, Sherri. You know, I have friend. She has a daughter who is 16, ya know, real close in age to your son Kevin. Her daughter just got off the bus one day and collapsed. So how is Kevin, Sherri? And Alex? And Jessica? How are YOU, Sherri?”

“What do you want Lawrence?”

“Oh, I just want to talk to you. I want to share a story with you about what GOD did for me in my life.” He then told me of a physical altercation he had with a man that ultimately he ended up serving 13 months for in the County Jail for assault.

At this point I got off the phone. I have filed an incident report with the local police, case # 0502180. I talked with the Police Chief and a detective this morning and was assured they were going to investigate. They absolutely take this incident seriously.

Again, I share this for the purpose of using public awareness and notification as a defense as advised to me. (In case the two incidents MAY be connected.) I have NO PROOF or EVIDENCE that they are at all related, but I am taking precautions.

"I Think That Religion Stops People From Thinking."

Bill Maher seems to have a very high opinion of people of religious faith.

Yes, weare a nation that is unenlightened because of religion. I do believe that. I think that religion stops people from thinking. I think it justifies crazies. I think flying planes into a building was a faith-based initiative. I think religion is a neurological disorder. If you look at it logically, its something that was drilled into your head when you were a small child. It certainly was drilled into mine at that age. And you really can't be responsible when you are a kid for what adults put into your head.

But when you become an adult,
you can then have it drilled out. And you should.

TALLAHASEE, FL- There is a surprising last minute filing in the Theresa Schindler-Schiavo case from an unexpected source.

The Florida Governor and other parties while they have not done everything to the public’s satisfaction in regards to saving a disabled, purposely-denied-from-rehabilitation human life they have contributed somewhat and have introduced some delays which may prove useful in giving other parties enough time to go before the courts as well as the public opinion.

Now that this matter is coming right down to the wire other parties such as Mr. Gordon Watts have come before the courts. Although, there are some perhaps who think that Mr. Watts doesn't have a right to come before the courts so far they have been proved wrong because it is the courts that have allowed Watts' filing to remain alive since October 2003. Even as the Governor's spirited case has been dismissed and denied by the courts thereby denying due process at all levels in efforts to bring to light all the facts, Mr. Watts has now made a last minute filing which may prove to be one of Theresa’s saving graces.

On the parents side the Gibbs law firm has just recently made arguments to the court that Theresa Schindler-Schiavo has been denied representation in court. However, Mr. Watts made similar arguments several years ago and so is continuing to petition the courts along said lines. Seeing that Theresa’s life has been put into immediate jeopardy (in regards to the threat of Judge Greer possibly lifting a 5PM stay today that prevents removal of her feeding device which provides food and fluids into the GI tract by simple gravity flow, Mr. Watts has made a last minute filing which it is hoped will save Theresa from the threat of being heinously and barbarically killed via dehydration/starvation. Let it be noted that it would be illegal to starve and dehydrate an animal let alone a serial killer on death row and that the whole nation would be up in arms if anyone threatened to do this to a pig or said human. To say that subjecting Theresa to starvation/dehydration violates state, federal and international laws would be an understatement. What is happening here in Florida is morally, ethically, and philosophically reprehensible and violates all standards of decency in regards to human rights and a civilized society.

Although the family’s attorneys and the Florida Governor have made some good legal arguments only Mr. Watts has petitioned the court concerning Theresa’s illegal detention at the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Inc. based on the fact that she is not terminally ill and it is illegal according to state and federal laws for her to be placed into and detained in hospice. Mr. Watts has used habeas corpus as the vehicle to bring this argument. As it stands Theresa has been illegally detained at Hospice Woodside for close to 5 years.

Those who have done research on the internet have found that the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Inc. and a bioethicist / end-of-life / right-to-die network (Partnership for End-of-Life Care) from University of Miami headed by Ken Goodman and others from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center (Kathy Cerminara and Michael Masinter, so-called disability, right-to-die, advocates with connections to the ACLU) has firmly entrenched itself with the Florida Office of Elder Affairs, the recently scandal-ridden Department of Health, and on up to the Department of Veterans Affairs. University of Miami ethics head Ken Goodman did a national interview on PBS in November of 2003 in which he said that Theresa Schiavo was permanently unconscious for over 13 years and had no brain. The evidence shown in videos on national television news networks and across the internet as well as regular in-person visits by Terri’s parents, siblings, their attorneys and priests prove otherwise. To their shame the judges and governor have failed to meet with Theresa. There is also evidence that Michael Schiavo suppressed a bone scan in which he may be responsible for 13 fractures sustained by Theresa Schiavo which included a broken femur and a broken back which dated to the time of the “incident” which occurred on February 25, 1990. Michael became aware of this X-Ray bone scan which was performed on Theresa in March of 1991 for a closed head injury yet he failed to bring in the authorities. Any other person would have gone ballistic upon finding out the results of such a bone scan. This implicates Michael Schiavo as having some sort of culpability for Theresa’s original “accident”.

On another note, outside of the court arena, there is a growing effort by persons coming from many and various backgrounds in the realm of internet blogs which has grown to over 150 blogs seeking to providing factual information in this case which the mainstream media refuses to address or which the mainstream media continuously misrepresents. Another notable internet site called FreeRepublic.com also has been at the forefront of efforts by others to get justice for Theresa Schindler-Schiavo since at least August of 2003 and has served as another meeting place for people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs to meet, exchange information and coordinate efforts to wake up not only the mainstream press but to also bring wider attention in the public domain to the her plight and the plight of other disabled and vulnerable people. In conclusion it is hoped that the combined team efforts of many parties will bear fruit and ultimately get justice for the disabled and vulnerable of the State of Florida and our nation, including Theresa Schindler-Schiavo. This is a call for all media outlets and people of great humanity who care to help avert Theresa’s murder, to demand that she be given protective custody and that the perpetrators who have been attempting her murder be investigated. The Florida Governor is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the State of Florida as well as the head of Department and Children and Families and he needs to bring the abuse of Theresa to a halt. Others are calling for the intervention of the President and the Pope.

I have been supplied with some very compelling information about Terri's case. The amount of information I have is mind boggling. It is taking me a long time to read the information and verify it. I have also spent hours on the phone with some excellent sources.

This is turning out to be a much more grim effort than I imagined. I am only now understanding the plight that the Schindlers have endured.

I am not an official spokesperson for them, but I would imagine they feel quite tattered and torn at this point. Please keep emailing! We are beginning to gain ground in getting their attention.

The STING of Tears

As I sit here typing away, going through this moment alone, I cannot stop the stinging of the tears rolling down my face.

At this VERY moment as I write, Terri's family is giving a statement to the press outside of the hospice where they are beginning her torture and execution. Is it on ANY news station? I cannot find it ANYWHERE.........

How can this be? I am awe stricken and devastated. I haven't been able to eat for days....... Each time I look at the food, I think of Terri. The very smell of the food makes me nauseous.

So much of me wants to curl up in a ball and wail. I am crying out, but who is listening? If I feel this way, how must Terri's family feel? How does Judge Greer feel? Better yet, does he feel? I know Michael and his fiance are happy. Imagine that. The person awarded the decisions in your healthcare is someone whom is HAPPY to not just see you die, but spend the money given to you for your care on making it happen. He not only seeks to kill her, but seeks to kill her in a way that is beyond the cruelty we impose onto convicted killers and animals.

Where is America? Where is the country I grew up loving and being so proud of. Our history is not perfect, but it is the BEST record of ANY country when it comes to protecting the most vulnerable of our world. No longer. Now the scraping of babies from their mother's wombs is done thousands of times a day. Today we step into the realm of killing handicapped women and the MSM aids in the lies to aid in this treacherous act.

Michael Schiavo: Loving Husband Or Monster?

As national pro-life groups and prominent leaders converged in vigils outside Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida, Terri Schiavo is inside the building in her bed, still hooked up to the feeding tube that has been center-focus of this so-called “right-to-die” case for the past several years. Ms. Schiavo is profoundly disabled and cannot communicate with words at this time.

But she knows. She feels. There’s expression in those eyes. Just one look at her in a video with her mother and everyone except the Scarecrow on his way to Oz knows it, too. Recently, another presumed “brain-dead” woman made news in Kansas. In a coma after becoming the victim of a drunk driver, Sarah Scantlin snapped out of a twenty year silence and began to speak. Memories are now coming back to her. By legal definition, Miss Scantlin’s life is valid. Yesterday, it was not.

Let me share this letter written by Susan.

Dear Sirs:

I am not a resident of Florida but I am an American citizen. I am writing to you today to inquire as to the exact law that would allow Terri Shiavo to be intentionally denied food and water. I would submit that the judge that issues this death sentence (George Greer) and the person that carries it out should certainly be arrested, tried, and convicted of negligent homicide.

Terri is NOT ON LIFE SUPPORT. Her life is viable and denying her food and water is a criminal act. This is not the same as removing someone from life support. This is MURDER. Just because her disability has rendered her incapable of feeding herself, that does not give anyone the right to kill her. Newborns are not capable of feeding themselves either, their parents/guardians must bear this responsibility. Terri's parents have been begging and pleading for the legal authority to make medical care available for their daughter yet they have been denied that opportunity. Are we really willing to set a precedent that makes it legal for parents and guardians to allow those in their care to die if they are not able to feed themselves? I will guarantee you that if this is allowed to happen you will have countless convicts that have been sentenced to prison for child neglect appealing based on THIS CASE. Just how will you refute their claim that you gave Michael Shiavo the right to do the very same thing without any repercussions?

What has our justice system become when we will allow a man that has moved on with his life and built a family with another woman to dictate whether or not this woman dies. If we allow this to happen we are giving this man the legal right to commit murder and he doesn't even have to do the dirty work himself!

What exactly is Mr. Shiavo's motivation for having Terri murdered? Why would he want to impose a death sentence on a completely innocent woman? What do you think would happen if the state of Florida opted to impose death by starvation on the inmates currently sitting on death row? I am already hearing, "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" and that is for convicted criminals. Terri's only crime is not having died as a result of her brain injury.

Mr. Shiavo has been given the opportunity to divorce Terri and walk away with no obligations to her at all but he refuses. If he truly was acting out of love for Terri and felt she would prefer to die than live as she has for the past 15 years, why would he not be fighting for euthanasia in a painless and quick way? I am not saying that I would agree with that either but, fighting to have her suffer for weeks is something that most people would not subject an animal to much less a living, breathing person. I have a very hard time believing that he is acting out of love for her and trying to do what is in her best interest.

It seems ludicrous to me that this has even continued this long. If this fight to kill Terri is not stopped - immediately and permanently - I for one will spend more time and effort contacting every convict that has ever been found guilty of negligence and assisting them in their appeals than you can possibly imagine.

It wasn't too long ago that the national media jumped to report that a G.I. Joe doll had been kidnapped and was being held captive my Muslim extremists. Well the MSM is at it again!

They are reporting that Judge Greer has issued a stay for Terri Schiavo's torture and starvation to start tomorrow instead of today. The fact is that a hearing scheduled for Monday was moved to Wednesday. Knowing, of course, that she is to start being starved to death today.

Latest Update on Terri Schiavo situation: Media reports are wrong

At this moment, there is no stay. All of media are reporting that there is.

We need to stay strong! The fight is tough, but it CAN be done. Don't give up no matter what you run into. I was personally VERY disgusted this morning. Gregg Napp, a radio talk show personality, was filling in for Glenn Beck. I called at 9:00 am, when the show starts. I sat on hold for an hour- no big deal- I understand how these things work, I was more than happy to wait. What DID upset me was the way they handled Terri's case. I told them that today is the day they pull her feeding tube and the media has it wrong. I told them that it was not too late, there were things that could be done, and that I could direct them to the website with information on what people could do to help. I gave them BlogsforTerri.com as the site. They let 2 phone calls on about Terri. One of the callers just slammed Jeb Bush. The other caller slammed Michael Schiavo. THAT'S IT! NOTHING HELPFUL HERE AT ALL!

Then they came back to me and said they would not get to me. I said "WHOA! Wait, but the information Gregg just announced is wrong. There is NO STAY! She doesn't have 24 more hours. They are pulling her feeding tube today at 1:00." She said "email him." and HUNG UP!
They just don't care if the information is wrong! I called another show, Neal Boortz. Told them about the misinformation. They had NO INTEREST!

This is a WAR that MANY BLOGGERS know we have been fighting for a long time. If the public is going to get the facts, they are only going to get the facts from US! March on! Take no prisoners. DO NOT ALLOW THE MSM TO AID MICHAEL SCHIAVO IN HIS QUEST TO TORTURE AND MURDER TERRI! We have to fight and fight hard!

I will say that I was allowed to talk on 2 radio shows last night about Terri's case. The best ones to call are the Christian radio stations. Although, I did get to talk about Terri on a SPORTS TALK SHOW! BLOG like crazy! Email like crazy! Get your friends involved. DELUGE the media, Jeb Bush and the Florida lawmakers! Call every show you can. Urge people to call and email. WE CANNOT LET THIS UP TO OTHERS!!! IT TAKES ALL OF US!

What Being an American Means to Me

I am VERY pleased to be able to share this essay written by Susan. Being an American means so many different things to so many different people. Susan writes about her feelings on this from the heart, and I believe she speaks for many of us when she says:

What Being an American Means to Me

Today is Presidents’ Day. What better time to reflect on what it means to be an American? For me, being an American citizen is an honor and a responsibility, not a birthright. Being American is a state of mind, not a state of residence. I thank God every day for putting me here in the U.S. at this time in history where I have the opportunity to have my own opinions, to share those opinions, to vote my conscience, to be as successful as I want to be, and to raise my children with all of the benefits of this great land.

So, to the Susan Sarandons and Alec Baldwins of the world I ask, “What does being an American mean to you?” I understand that you don’t like war. I also understand that you believe the American government is doing it wrong. I have heard the cries demanding to know, “Why should the rich get richer while the poor get poorer?” and the outraged demonstrators waiving their Anti-Bush posters. To this I say, “You have a right to your opinion and thanks to the United States Constitution, you also have the right to voice that opinion.”

I realize that there are many people that were born in the United States because their parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents migrated here many generations before they were born. For those Americans that are here for that reason, I want to let you know that another privilege you have as an American is the freedom to leave if you wish to do so. It has obviously not occurred to these individuals that just because their ancestors viewed the American way of life as a positive change that does not mean that they are obligated to remain here. There are a number of other countries that do not operate in the same manner as the U.S. in fact no other countries operate in the same manner. Oh wait, that is exactly WHY America exists today, isn’t it? Of course, I remember now…

Was it third or fourth grade when we learned about the Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, and the Pilgrims? Stay with me here, I know most of the Hollywood Elite never went to college but I would hope you made it through elementary school. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Do you know what that holiday represents? Those individuals demonstrated the fire and perseverance that is the embodiment of what it means to be American. They had such a burning desire to be free from religious persecution that they risked their very lives to travel to a new land and before they ever set foot on solid ground they made their first group decision and entered into the Mayflower Compact.

That need to be free and love of country was handed down to their children and those children demonstrated their metal in the American Revolution. They stepped up and fought for what they believed in and paid a very high price so they could leave a legacy of freedom and independence for generations to come. So, when Bruce Springsteen is singing “Born in the U.S.A.” or Cher is belting out the National Anthem, I have to ask what message is it these people are trying to convey? They claim some sort of obligation to use their celebrity to promote their idea of a better America but how would becoming another France be representative of a “better” America?

All the things these people are demonstrating against are all of the things that make this country great. If you want the government to pay for your medical expenses, move to a socialist country. If you want to share the wealth, maybe you should consider relocating to North Korea. Their government makes all the decisions and there is no rich/poor dynamic - everyone is equal. Of course, the people are starving to death because the government has opted to spend all its resources on weapons rather than food so you will want to pack a lunch!

I am absolutely amazed that these people flaunt their ignorance like a badge of honor. What do you say we put a “President HU Jintao SUCKS!” tee shirt on all of them and ship them off to Bejing? Do you think their argument that they have a right to assemble would work there? How about their right to free speech? I would love to find out. As for all of the wealthy Hollywood Elite, if you are so concerned about the world’s hungry, ill, and oppressed, why haven’t you opened your pocketbook to help the needy here at home?

I am an American, in the truest sense of the word. I love my country, I would fight for my freedom, my right to bear arms, my right to choose my religion, my right to free speech, and my right to tell my President, George W. Bush, “I respect you, I voted for you, I support you, and I sleep well at night knowing that the safety of this nation is in your capable hands. May God bless you and may God bless America!” It is also my right and honor to stand up and say to all of our service people, “Thank you for risking everything you hold dear to protect our way of live. Thank you for putting yourself in harm’s way to keep innocent children out of it. Thank you for your generous commitment to the oppressed people of Iraq and all of the other nations around the world. You are the heart and soul of America and the modern day “Pilgrims” that future generations will revere throughout history.”

Minimum Wage, Illegal Aliens, and CEOs

I get really annoyed when I hear the same people complain that we need to increase the minimum wage, who also say there is a shortage of workers willing to do menial jobs, and thus should encourage illegal aliens to invade our Great Nation.

Let’s start with the law of Supply & Demand, or more specifically labor demand. As far as there being a shortage of workers willing to do any job, I say “You are crazy if you believe that!”
Pick a job, any job! Let’s say “lettuce picker”, Okay? Now you postulate that there seem to be too few lettuce pickers available? That’s idiotic. If I am willing to pay $50. per hour (or $100,000 per year) for this job, I will provide you with a virtually infinite supply of lettuce pickers, won’t I? So you see there is not a shortage, after all, just people who do not understand the economics of labor.

So what happens if we secure the borders, and eliminate a vast supply of cheap slave labor? Yes, I said “slave”. Think about it. If they make trouble, don’t work hard enough, do anything to piss off “the Master”, he just calls up Immigration and has the riffraff forcefully evicted from the country, often losing anything they had managed to acquire. Pretty sweet deal, huh? Then he smuggles in some more slaves to replace them. Without these slaves, the farm owners must either automate or pay higher wages to encourage “normal” workers to take the jobs. That’s labor demand. Because of this, the workers at the low end of the economic spectrum see their wages increase, naturally. Sure it costs more to produce lettuce, but that is the law of supply & demand for capital goods. Thus, there is no need for minimum wage increases, because the wages rise without undue and unnatural economic legislation.

But what about those at the top? The exact same rules hold. I get nauseous when I hear the old saw about “If you want that talent, you need to pay the obscene salaries.” Again, that is so stupid! I can cause the same losses in those companies for less than one percent of what they pay these idiots (or crooks, if you prefer). But, if you want that talent, I can get it for FREE. Let’s pretend I am asked to find a new CEO for General Motors. Good grief, there are thousands of multimillionaires in this country who would give your left arm for that job. They have money, they want power and prestige. They would readily be willing to take the job for free, maybe even pay something to have it.

So there you have it. Secure the borders; eliminate a vast segment of poverty. Stop paying CEOs; enhance the value of major corporations (and your 401k). It’s so simple, even I thought of it.

During the orchestrated photo ops she said, "The results of the election are a strong rebuke to those who did not believe that the Iraqi people would take this opportunity to demonstrate their own commitment to their own future."

Gee, do you think maybe OUR election in November could have been "a strong rebuke to those" who cling to the rejected politics of liberal Democrats? ....................................
